Thanks to Paramount Pictures Australia, This Is Film has 5 merchandise packs (including Admit 4 family in-season passes, a water bottle and hoodie) to give away for Playing With Fire, releasing in Australian cinemas Thursday December 12th.
When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson and his elite team of firefighters come to the rescue of three siblings, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet — babysitting. As their lives, jobs and depot get turned upside down, the three men soon learn that children — much like fires — are wild and unpredictable.

E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial is an outstanding family movie — one of the all-time best. Its themes of loyalty, trust, and caring are both affecting and easy to understand.
Marley & Me (or pretty much any animal movie!) teaches children love & compassion for animals as they learn that puppies are for life through good & bad times
Mrs Doubtfire a movie I can repeatedly watch and always get a good laugh it’s warm and soothing of a dysfunctional family
‘Princess Bride’ is a huge favourite in our house (I think Mum enjoys it the most). Also ‘Meet the Robinsons’ – such a great story. I love the quote by Lewis “You just focused on the bad stuff when all you had to so was let go if the past and keep moving forward”. Rob Thomas music is also a bonus.
baby’s day out ,cutest baby evah, just like our son Glynn when he was a baby, what naughty mischief he got up to is nobodies business a great family favourite that is always watchable for our family
Our kids love secret life of pets as they are animal lovers
Home Alone as it gives us all a good laugh
Being Christmas “Home Alone” is our number one family movie.
How to Train Your Dragon, love the adventure.
Despite seeing it twelve million times, I really like High School Musical. It has singing, dancing, romance, drama, friendships…. and sport!. Could watch it another twelve million times.
Home Alone is my favourite!! Love all Kevin’s traps that he creates!! So imaginative!! Oh and it’s also a perfect family movie for Christmas!!
Despite seeing it twelve million times, I love High School Musical. It has singing, dancing, drama, romance, friendship … and sport! It’s a great feel good movie!
🐾 A DOGS WAY HOME – Bella embarks on a journey across 400 miles of wilderness to find her way back to her owner. It reflects no matter where in the world you are, whether a human or an animal, that there are some bonds that no distance can break! 🐕
Home Alone – It’s highly entertaining and filled with slapstick humour ( our fave! ), where the underdog is the hero and there’s the lovely message to love and accept everyone
A family favourite movie to watch is Matilda. About a bright younggirl discouraged from reading her only escape is in a house where her skills and intelligence is discouraged. And the worst principal you could ever meet. But she seeks refuge in learning and in the kindness of her teacher eventually showing them what she is really made of (telekinetic powers and all) a warm heartfelt story the whole family will love. Definitely a must watch.
Instant Family was a great movie that we all enjoyed. Full of laughs, a few tears and a real feel-good ending.
Home Alone will always be our favourite, doesn’t matter if it’s xmas time or not. Full of fun from start to finish, never get bored
